1. Why are there bits of shea butter in my shea body butter?

We call those “love bits.” These bits of shea butter absorbs quickly when warmed in your hands and adds even more moisture to your skin. Our love bits are also a clear indication that all of our products are homemade and not mass produced. We are proud to note that we do not melt or heat up our shea butter because we want the shea butter to remain in its most natural state. You do not have to worry about the properties of the shea butter damaging through our production process.

2. Is it normal for my body butter(s) to melt in transit?

Yes, this is normal. Due to the natural state of our products, your body butters may melt a bit in transit. We suggest that if melting happens, place your products in your refrigerator for up to 3 hours. After you take your products out of your refrigerator, they should be back to its original form/consistency. We also ensure that our packing peanuts are biodegradable and can dissolve in water.

3. Should I leave the body butter(s) in the bathroom?

We would recommend leaving the body butters in a room temperature area away from any warm climates, where it has the possibility to melt.

4. Have any of your products been tested on animals?

We are extremely proud to say that all of our products are cruelty free and have not been tested on any animals. Our products have been tested on our lovely family and friends.

5. I’m a US customer, why has my shipping fee changed when I add in my shipping address ?

Our standard shipping fees start at $15 CDN. Our shipping rates are calculated based on your geographic area. Once you enter your US shipping address, USPS calculates your shipping fees.

6. I’m a US customer, why does the tracking number stop showing activity when customs releases the package(s) into the United States?

Once your package has been released by customs, you can continue tracking it by using that same tracking number on the USPS website (www.usps.com).
